Deskbound is built to know as little as possible about you.
The list of apps you block lives only on your device, inside Apple's Screen Time system, and it is technically opaque even to the app itself: Deskbound cannot read which apps you selected, and neither can we.
Your list, your daily credit, your pending removals, the counts behind the weekly report and your settings are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.
Deskbound does not track what you do inside the apps you block: it cannot see the accounts you open, what you scroll past, or what you watch in the YouTube reader.
Deskbound does record anonymous events about your use of Deskbound itself, so that we can tell where the app is confusing or broken.
Those events are: that a setup step was completed, that the Screen Time permission was granted or refused, that a first session ran, that a first craving was intercepted, that a credit was spent, that the YouTube reader was opened for the first time, that a weekly report was opened, and that an account moved from free to Founder.
They carry no app identities, no content and no addresses, and none of them describes anything you did inside the apps on your list.
An account is required to use Deskbound.
On it we store your email address, the answers you gave during setup (your name, your age bracket, what you do, what you expect from Deskbound, roughly how much time you were spending on social, and how you heard about us), and whether your subscription is active.
That is the whole list.
We do not store the apps you block, we cannot, and we do not record what you do inside them.
Nothing is sold, and nothing goes to advertisers.
You can delete the account from inside the app at any time, and deletion removes your data permanently rather than deactivating it.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous identifier and your purchase state in order to validate the subscription.
We never see your payment details.
The weekly report is generated on your device from events the app itself recorded, and the notification permission is requested only when the first report is due.
No notification data leaves your device.

Deskbound è costruita per sapere il meno possibile di te.
La lista delle app che blocchi vive soltanto sul tuo dispositivo, dentro il sistema Screen Time di Apple, ed è tecnicamente opaca anche per l'app stessa: Deskbound non può leggere quali app hai scelto, e non possiamo farlo nemmeno noi.
La lista, il credito giornaliero, le rimozioni in corso, i conteggi che stanno dietro al resoconto settimanale e le impostazioni sono salvati in locale sul tuo dispositivo e non vengono caricati da nessuna parte.
Deskbound non traccia cosa fai dentro le app che blocchi: non può vedere gli account che apri, cosa scorri, né cosa guardi nel lettore YouTube.
Deskbound registra invece eventi anonimi sul tuo uso di Deskbound stessa, per capire dove l'app è confusa o rotta.
Gli eventi sono questi: che un passaggio della configurazione è stato completato, che il permesso di Screen Time è stato dato o negato, che è partita una prima sessione, che è stato intercettato un primo impulso, che è stato speso un credito, che il lettore YouTube è stato aperto per la prima volta, che un resoconto settimanale è stato aperto, e che un account è passato da gratis a Fondatore.
Non contengono nomi di app, né contenuti, né indirizzi, e nessuno di essi descrive qualcosa che hai fatto dentro le app della tua lista.
L'account è necessario per usare Deskbound.
Su di esso conserviamo il tuo indirizzo email, le risposte che hai dato durante la configurazione (il nome, la fascia d'età, cosa fai, cosa ti aspetti da Deskbound, quanto tempo passavi sui social e come ci hai conosciuto) e se il tuo abbonamento è attivo.
La lista finisce qui.
Non conserviamo le app che blocchi, non possiamo, e non registriamo cosa fai al loro interno.
Niente viene venduto e niente va a inserzionisti.
Puoi eliminare l'account dall'interno dell'app in qualsiasi momento, e l'eliminazione cancella i dati in modo definitivo invece di disattivarli.
Gli abbonamenti sono gestiti da Apple e amministrati tramite RevenueCat, che riceve un identificatore anonimo e lo stato dell'acquisto per convalidare l'abbonamento.
Non vediamo mai i tuoi dati di pagamento.
Il resoconto settimanale viene generato sul tuo dispositivo a partire dagli eventi che l'app stessa ha registrato, e il permesso per le notifiche viene chiesto soltanto quando il primo resoconto è in arrivo.
Nessun dato delle notifiche lascia il dispositivo.
